“AMAZING! I found Shelley’s information on the Knot while scouring the internet for a hairstylist for my wedding. I had just had an awful experience with the salon that I planned on booking for hair and make-up. After seeing glowing reviews and stalking her weddings on Facebook, I gave her a call to see if she was available and willing to travel to Bay Harbor, MI for my August wedding. She was so easy to talk to on the phone and she knew all of the right questions to ask. For most brides, the next step would be to schedule a trial with your hairstylist to make sure you are happy with their work (especially after just having a bad experience). Well, the kicker is that I live in Florida and there was only so many times I could make my way up to Michigan. I booked her on the spot and crossed my fingers. I also wanted extensions put in my hair before the wedding. Since I was unable to make it back up to Michigan, Shelley had to color match my hair through pictures I sent her (I know, I’m crazy). I flew up to Michigan 3 days before my wedding for Shelley to apply the extensions. So, needless to say, they needed to match or I was out of luck. They matched perfectly! Shelley traveled to Bay Harbor, MI Friday afternoon with a makeup artist, Nikoletta, that she totally put together for me. They did hair and make-up for myself and my mother-in-law for my rehearsal dinner and it was nothing short of amazing. For the wedding on Saturday, Shelley styled hair for myself, five bridesmaids and my mother-in-law. Everyone just loved her. My mother, who is not an easy woman to please, absolutely loved all of her updos and styles.
