“I've lived in LA for over 4 years now and work in entertainment so I was a little nervous at first with finding someone in Michigan since I hadn't been back to have my hair done there in so long.... and then I found Shelley. I've worked with a lot of hair and make-up people in my line of work and let me just say this: If you want a perfect hair experience from start to finish then you want to book shelley for your wedding day (or any day). Let's start at the very beginning- Shelley is amazing at communicating. She always responded to my emails in a timely manner. For my trial, she spent hours with me making sure she understood what look I was going for, offering her expertise and trying a bunch of different looks that I was obsessed with (so much so that it made it so hard to decide which way to go!!) She then takes meticulous pictures of your hair so she can reference it on the day of the wedding! For the day of, not only did she do such an AMAZING job on my hair, but her energy and overall coolness is the EXACT type of energy you want around you on your wedding day. She's sweet, she's chill, she's fun to talk to and most importantly, she's beyond talented. She (and her team) did such an amazing job on my hair, and every bridesmaid as well as my husbands mother - ranging from up-do's to big curls to a perfect blowout and more! Another thing I love about Shelley is that she loves people who know exactly what they want and executes it perfectly (like my best friend) but is also pure perfection when you need a guidance and help deciding (like me!) I truly could not have been happier with my hair or with Shelley and I'm SO happy I found her! Trust me you will be happy every time you look at a photo of yourself from your wedding day that you had Shelley do your hair!!!”
